Catholics welcome Vatican economic control

The “Religion News Service” posted the following article after the Pope declared yesterday a desire to control the economy around the world… (See previous post on this blog)

Reaction to Pope Benedict XVI’s long-awaited social encyclical “Caritas in Veritate,” is starting to pour in. In it, Benedict calls for a reformed United Nations with policing power and a new financial world order to enforce business ethics. USA Today has a nice summary of the dense and wide-ranging encyclical, billed as a major Vatican teaching, here. Already, Catholic progressives are embracing the document:Source (NOTE: The National Catholic Reporter also posted this comment!)

Some may ask, why do “progressive” Catholics like this so much? Because they know, when the Pope says he wants a “God-centered” global economy, he means he wants his office to control the global economy. This will give the Catholic prelates “their day” yes. But their day will end in sudden destruction when Jesus returns, and our eternity will begin. When the Pope controls the money, accepting the mark of the Roman pope will become the only way to get the money. Then, their just and holy accurate judgment will arrive from on High and as prophecied. The ten toes, or “club of Rome” as the Vatican calls it, will turn on her, and the armies of those ten regions on earth will cause the Vatican to “burn with fire.”

  • Revelation 17:16, “And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.”

So be it! Maranatha!
